Personalities don't come much sweeter than Elk's. She has a gentle nature and loves cuddles and kisses. She is a submissive girl who is happiest following the the other dogs or getting tummy rubs. She loves food, swimming and chasing the ball.

 

Elk is a sable chocolate merle with pretty blue-green eyes. Her mother is also a sable chocolate merle and her dad is chocolate and white.

 

She is a smaller, athletic looking girl with a medium drive. She loves a game or a run, however once at home she is very relaxed and is a very cuddly girl who loves to curl up at your feet or on your lap. She can be a little timid with new dogs and people, but once she warms up she couldn't be sweeter. She adores Parker and follows him around most of the time. 

 

Elk has been DNA tested, she is clear and not a carrier of any hereditary disorders commonly associated with Border Collies. DNA was done by an approved collection method by our fantastic Vet, Dr John Campbell. 

 

She has been tested and is DNA clear of the following:

Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome (TNS)

Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA)

Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (CL) 

Ivermectin Sensitivity MDR1 

Primary Lens Luxation (PLL)

bb  - is brown/chocolate

DD - not dilute or carry dilute

EE - not red or carry red

K/ky - one copy dominant black (K) and one copy of non-black (ky)
